Murphy's Law for In Nomine, part I

as writ by K. M. Lintz

Yes, Murphy's Law pervades virtually everywhere, and that includes into all systems. (Except maybe HoL...what can go wrong in a place where everything IS Wrong?) I had intended this issue to do In Nomine, but, well, a number of things that could have gone wrong did, and what with one thing and another...this has ended up being split into two parts; the Angelic, and the Demonic. This time? Murphy's Law for Angels!

Comments from the Choirs:
Seraphim:

Murphy's Law is indeed True.

Cherub:

Whatever can go wrong will...but not on MY shift.

Ofanim:

Whatever can go wrong will go wrong, so be ready to dodge.

Elohim:

Whatever can go wrong will, subjectively, be the worst possible thing to have gone wrong, even though objectively it may be quite minor. Fascinating, isn't it?

Malakim:

Whatever can go wrong will be -Evil-.

Kyriotate:

Whatever can go wrong will go wrong all at once.

Mercurian:

Whatever can go wrong will go wrong...that's what friends are for.

Grigori:

Just watch and see all the things that can go wrong!

As the Archangels caution their Servitors:
Blandine:

When whatever can go wrong does, you won't be able to wake up.

David:

Whatever can go wrong will gang up on you.

Dominic:

Whatever can go wrong will go wrong at your weakest moment.

Eli:

Why's everyone so hung up on what can go wrong? Have a beer, dude.

Gabriel:

Whatever can go wrong may come from your own side.

Janus:

Whatever can go wrong will usually blow your getaway.

Jean:

Whatever can go wrong WON'T go wrong until well after beta testing, when you really -need- it to work.

Jordi:

Whatever can go wrong will encroach on your territory, poison your water, and try to eat you for dinner.

Laurence:

Whatever can go wrong will go wrong, but we can handle it. Honest. We don't need Michael to save our butts. Again.

Marc:

Whatever can go wrong will be minor...before local, state, and federal taxes, shipping and handling, import tarrifs, all applicable surcharges, et cetera.

Michael:

Whatever can go wrong needs its butt kicked.

Novalis:

Whatever can go wrong deserves a chance; it may not be so bad in the long run.

Uriel:

Whatever can go wrong will pull you back from the absolute brink of the ultimate victory that you've been fighting for for centuries. But I'm not bitter.

Yves:

Whatever can go wrong will go wrong, even to the best of us. Well...okay, not really, but to the best of you, to be sure.

As embodied by the Archangels and their Servitors
Blandine:

Whatever can go wrong will go wrong, even in your dreams.

David:

Whatever can go wrong will go wrong with the unstoppable force of an avalanche.

Dominic:

Whatever can go wrong is always watching.

Eli:

Whatever can go wrong is cool with me.

Gabriel:

Whatever can go wrong will go wrong for those who deserve it most. Oh, and Dominic can BITE me. HaHaHa.

Janus:

Whatever can go wrong will huff, and puff, and set some charges, and Blow Your House Up!

Jean:

Whatever can go wrong will always strike twice - NEVER forget your backups.

Jordi:

Whatever can go wrong will have rabies.

Lawrence:

Whatever can go wrong will go wrong on -MY- orders, and not before.

Marc:

Whatever can go wrong will charge by the hour.

Michael:

Whatever can go wrong can kick your butt.

Novalis:

Whatever can go wrong will seem a lot simpler than it is.

Uriel:

Whatever CAN go wrong, up here? It's not like I'm still involved in the War. But I'm not bitter.

Yves:

Whatever can go wrong will go wrong, because that's the way it is.
